Cartridge Dust Collectors

Empire's cartridge dust collectors increase productivity in three ways:  First, these collectors are designed to operate continuously; the air-blast system does not have to be shut down while dust is removed from filtration surfaces.

Next, they simplify dust removal from filtration material.  On CDC-6 and CDC-9 units, push-button reverse jet-pulsing is performed by an operator viewing a minihelic gauge (which monitors pressure drop across the filter) and is accomplished manually while the air-blast system is operating.  With the addition of a photohelic upgrade, dust is moved from the filtration surfaces to a collection drum automatically.

Finally, the collection cartridges, once worn, can be quickly and easily removed and replaced through a large access door.

Empire's cartridge dust collectors prolong operating cycles, maximize up time and reduce maintenance costs – all adding to higher profits.

Our equipment does what sand blasting tries to do.

Silica sand should not be used in any Empire air-blast equipment.
